CCAT provides various levels of support and services to many member organizations and business professionals in Canada and China, especially to the small and medium sized enterprises, entrepreneurs, and start-ups that are seeking to take their first steps in a new market, as well as universities and culture communities. CCAT informs Canadians on fast-growing opportunities with China, facilitate the success of Canadian business in China, and work with organizations big and small from all sectors of the Canadian economy as they enter and operate in China. We also guide Chinese investors as they enter the Canadian market so they can operate successfully in Canada. We are a trusted source of information and opinions on Canada-China business and policy. Director of CCIFF, Dr. Miao Song was invited to attend the International Film Festival Forum -- hosted by Xiamen University 厦门大学's College of Humanities between June 29 and July 3 in Xiamen, China. Attendees included artists, archivists, programmers, and researchers from China, Southeast Asia, North America, Europe, and Australia. Topics of discussion ranged from Film Archives and Film Restoration to histories and practices of film festivals. Dr. Song also gave a speech, talking about film festivals and technology. Canada China Art-Tech (CCAT) was founded in 2015 as a non-profit organization registered in Canada provincially and federally. Based in Montreal, we have established solid relationship with governmental authorities of two countries and are making full use of the unique natural, technological and cultural resources.
